Can't edit gallery

  • Hello
    I can’t seem to edit a gallery after it’s been created. I’m usig WordPress 4.5.2 and the Twenty Fourteen theme. When I want to add a gallery to a page I click Add Media and then the Create Gallery link. I select the images I want and click Insert to Page. At that point I should see an Edit Gallery button but I don’t.

    I’ve removed all plugins and tried this on a much older Mac, a PowerPC. In both cases I’m unable to edit a gallery.

    Actually I figured it out. It’s not intuitive, but if you hover over one of the pictures in your gallery, in editing mode, you’ll see an editing menu pop up. It looks like its only good for that picture, but it takes you into an editing screen where you can change and edit the whole gallery.

    Thank you so much for the quick reply. Unfortunately I don’t get a pop up menu when I hover over an image.
