Can’t edit elements in the background

HI,
I have problem on client’s website. Elementor doesn’t work properly in the background. It may be complicated to explain to you but the Elementor does not allow to each element( secrion, image, text field etc) to be edited in the background, it doesn’t provide the option to click on a certain element/section and edit it – the focus (blue line) on the element / section does not appear when we get to it, the editing pen does not appear and the only option is the navigator, which makes it even more difficult and requires more time. Elementor has been updated to the latest version. Can you help me please ?
