Can't drag widgets or use customize page

  • Completely fresh install of wordpress, deleted all plugins and tried all three default themes, and one non-default theme however I still cannot drag + drop wdigets on the widget editor, nor can I use the page customizer as it appears to stay in the loading phase permanently.

    I have tried this using chrome and edge on windows 1064bit, as well as chrome and IE10 on windows 7 64bit. Still no luck.

    I have also tried adding the use google libraries, but that still hasn’t resolved the issue for me. If anyone else has any ideas which might help, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

  • Sounds like you either have a javascript error or it’s disabled.

    Are you getting any other errors on other websites?

    Sorry for the very belated reply. It looks like it’s an issue with my host. I don’t know what they’ve done, but it’s cocked up everything.
