• So, There’s a button that alternates between “move” and “copy”, but how do you actually move or copy? I select checkboxes, then drag the image over to a different folder, and I make sure my mouse pointer is highlighting the destination folder (not the image thumbnail), release the mouse button and…. nothing happens.

Furthermore, there are some weird things going on with images shown my MLF that no longer actually exist. I deactivated the plugin, activated the reset plugin. Did a database reset. Deactivated the reset plugin and reactivated the main MLF plugin. Did new SYNCs and all, and it still shows a folder as containing several images that actually no longer exist (verified via FTP).

The Media Library is actually a database and not a live picture of what is on your server. In order to keep the database in sync with the actual files on the server you need to do your adding and removing of files through the media library or media library folders. Since the files and folder have been removed you can simply delete the files in the folder using Media Library Folders, it does not care if the file are no longer there, but it will update the database. Once the files have been deleted, right click on folder and select Delete this folder? Folders have to be empty, if it still exists, before you can delete them in order to avoid accident deletion of blog images.

It sounds like you are dragging and dropping images correctly. If moving an individual image, you do not need to check the check box.

If you would like to email me directly at [email protected], I see what can be done to verify that the plugin is working correctly. Please mention this post.
