Can't download, just jump to the home

  • Since about 3 weeks ago, I think when I updated to 1.5.1, stopped working download.

    When I clicked the download link, just jump to the home of site, and nothing happened.
    I tried to flush the permalink (Settings > Permalinks and save) but still can’t download.
    I also tried to reinstall 1.5.0 but same thing happened.
    Is there any solution?

    WordPress version was 3.9.1 when it happened. Now updated to 3.9.2.

  • I have had the same issue, for weeks, I emailed author, still no support

    i just realised the same thing, although mine got redirected to my blog page instead. Initially i thought it was because i installed a new plugin and caused an internal screwup. Any idea how to get this to work with FB viral downloader?

    You have to change the permalink to anything than Default

    Go to WordPress Settings -> Permalinks

    hmmm, still not working for me.

    If i changed my permalinks to something else, that means i gotta go back to all the diff posts and redo all my hyperlinks right?

    My permalink settings was default, does it mean that it’s necessary to change other than default permanently?
    Currently my server seems to not have mod_rewrite, so I want to use default if it can.

    +1 Razi3L. I worked several hours to make a new template and formating it like the client wanted to see that it wasn’t downloading at all in the first place.
