Can't Display Taxonomy in Loop'

I created a Taxonomy for Authors and I’d like to display the Author taxonomy for each item. Looks like maybe you came up with something in 0.6.6 to do this? But I can’t quite get the syntax right or doesn’t seem to be working for me.

The slug name for the Taxonomy is “authors” and I’ve tried any variation of the following in my Loop :

[content field="authors"] or [content field="authors" out="slug"] or [content field="authors" out="authors"] or [out="authors"]

Can you point me in the right direction?
