Can’t display cropped image

I’m having issues with getting the gallery to display the cropped version of images. I want to put a slideshow gallery containing 3 cropped images on my homepage. I cropped the images in the Photo Gallery plugin as a gallery and the thumbnails displays the way I want. But when I go to publish the images on my homepage in a slideshow gallery, it displays the original images and not the cropped version. I have tried saving and publishing the images several times. I also tried reactivating and deactivating the plugin. How do you get cropped images to show up in a slideshow gallery instead of the originals?
