Can’t disable updates for certain plugin

    Hello,

    I installed the latest version of the plugin.

    I want to disable updates for a certain plugin, it’s the one I installed the plugin for, it’s the theme’s core plugin.

    I blocked updates for this plugin.

    But it still Auto updates.
    Reinstalled the theme’s plugin several times, but still auto updates.

    I use both sucurri security and itheme security plugins.

    It’s called phlox core elements, phlox is the name of the theme.

    I finally done a trick that I changed the core plugin file version to 999.999.999 to disable any future updates.

    That’s one way to do it. Any chance you can share the code so I can troubleshoot assuming the code is GPL?

    @ronalfy Does our current release have the enhanced logging code? If so, presumably the log table may have some info?

    I’m afraid I’m also having problems with one particular “rogue” plugin: Google Analytics Dashboard (GADWP).

    No matter what I do, it still insists on updating itself to 6.0 from 5.3.10.

    So far, it’s the only plugin I have disabled (it’s the primary reason I’m using Easy Updates Manager).

    In the CP, I have “Choose per plugin” enabled and then I have GADWP blocked in the plugins section.

    Any ideas? As far as I can make out, EUM is working fine (other plugins are updating fine – and confirmation emails go out.
