Can't Disable Image Cropping for Multisites

  • I have WPMU and I tried to disable image cropping by:
    1. going to Settings – Media – uncheck “Crop thumbnail to exact dimensions”, but as soon as I “Save Changes” the tick appears again
    2. Settings – Media – width and height set to 0, also not helping
    3. Network Admin – Sites – my site – Settings – Thumbnail Crop set to 0, but but as soon as I save “1” appears again

    Are there other suggestions how to disable image cropping for multisites?
