Can’t Delete Uploaded Files

    I uploaded some images using wp2’s fancy new upload feature on the “write post” page but now I can’t delete them! Filezilla reports the owner/group of the uploaded files are set to 99/99, which is different from what all the other files. I can get support to delete the files for me, but I want to make sure this doesn’t happen again.

    Any idea what I can do or tell my hosting provider in order to avoid this problem in the future?

  • In WordPress 2.0, under the Manage->Posts (or Write -> Posts), in the Upload Browse (or Browse All) section at the bottom of the screen, you can click on an image then select the Delete option.
