• When I try to install another template, I cannot replace the default twenty-twenty-two template. It will install, but can’t activate it, because twenty-twenty-two remains active.
This happens with a new WordPress installation. Is this due to the wordpress release or the theme? Is an earlier wp release the solution? So I can’t do anything at the moment.

@gjalto I’m not quite sure I understand the issue. Are you wanting to use Twenty Twenty-Two, or a different theme? If so, which theme?

On a fresh install of WordPress, Twenty Twenty-Two should come pre-installed and already activated, since it’s the current default theme.

    What’s your end goal?

Please provide me with clear steps to replicate the problem you’re having in achieving your goal.

I’ll be glad to take another look once I better understand what you’re trying to do. Thanks!
