I bought a theme from Template Monster, and there is this big border separating my Slider and my Header that I want to get rid of, and I can find it anywhere in the code.

My website is BrooklynFrench.com If you go, you’ll definitely see what I’m talking about.

    Tips? suggestions?

  • As this is a commercial theme, we cannot really help. You need to seek support from the theme vendors.

To get eliminate the gap, you have to make the navigation area disappear. I didn’t click around so I am not sure if you have other top level static pages on your site that you want to show up in the main navigation menu. If you do this solution is not for you.

Login to your Admin panel, on the left hand column click on “Appearance”. On the options that open up click “Editor”, this opens up the stylesheet.

Scroll down to “nav.primary {” and add the setting “display:none;”, in between the braces and without the quotation marks.

I don’t have experience with paid templates and what they let you see, but if you can see the stylesheet this will work.
