I created good-looking and well-functioning photography Website and realized that running it will be very labor consuming. To this end I installed the Simple Lightbox plugin.
I thought that I’ll create a sort of a static category page with a lightbox and payment buttons which would make it easy to add new material and even eliminate the need for creating new pages.
I installed the Simple Lightbox, configured its settings so the background would be DARK to match the Website. I also eliminated the plugin’s impact on existing galleries, etc.
The outcome was a white disaster with double pictures, link sharing and WP logo promotion! You can see it here:

I panicked, I deactivated and deleted the plugin. I checked the server’s side. The plugin isn’t there.
But the white disaster stayed behind. I can’t get rid of it. I tried installing other lightbox plugins. No matter what I do, no matter what lightbox plugin I use, the result is always the same: the dreadful white disaster. I can’t get rid of it!!! What to do? I’ll be VERY grateful for your help! Thank you in advance.

Hi, SLB does not affect how the page is displayed in any way. It only controls the lightbox that is displayed when an image is clicked.

I would recommend checking whether the active theme or other plugins may be causing the issues you are experiencing. You can temporarily switch to one of WordPress’ default themes (e.g. Twenty-Sixteen, etc.) to see if your theme is causing the issue.

If the problem persists after switching to a different theme, then you can incrementally disable the site’s active plugins, refreshing the page each time you disable a plugin. When the issues disappear, the last plugin you disabled is the one causing the issues.

    Hope this helps!

The fault was mine, it’s solved and it had NO bearing on your plugin! Please accept my apology.
