@opajaap
Do you mean I shouldn’t display any picture at all, but leave them in the database? Maybe just creating a slide show of the “best” or “best rated” and leave the rest invisible, until somebody searches for them?
Also, is there a possibilty to show a complete taxanomic tree for each species once displayed? Example:
Mollusca (Phylum) >>> Gastropoda (Class) >>> Heterobranchia (Subclass) >>> Euthyneura (Infraclass) >>> Ringipleura (Subterclass) >>> Nudipleura (Superorder) >>> Nudibranchia (Order)>>> Doridina (Suborder) >>> Doridoidei (Infraorder) >>> Chromodoridoidea (Superfamily) >>> Chromodorididae (Family) >>> Chromodoridinae (Subfamily) >>> Goniobranchus (Genus) >>> Goniobranchus tritos (Species)
It doesn’t need to be as complete as the above example, but half as long would be very welcome.
Also, is there a way to change the appearance of the search fields?
I went through the different options yesterday and the supersearch is pretty close, but I’d prefer to have most tag options readily available/clickable, sorted under fitting headlines or graphically identifiable filters.
Example: a frame of coloured, clickable tiles representing individual tags for colours; basically a graphic representation of available filter tags connected by “and” (selector? What are “and” and “or” called in coding terms?). The tiles should be clickable in a simple on/off switch style.
Here you can see, where I am at the moment: Current situation
