I am testing another plugin to save hosting costs (Photonic with Smugmug).

Because of a conflict the developer told me to deactivate litebox pro and meow gallery (i have both pro and free versions. Even so, if i tried to delete litebox pro on this test account i get a message thst it can’t be deleted because it is still installed on my main account.

Not sure what this means. I cloned my regular site but it is on a totally different host and domain.

    Hi @tokyoprogressive5,

What do you mean exactly? Sorry, I didn’t get it ?? Looks like you really want to move your images out of WordPress, but I am not sure it’s a good idea.

    Ok. I see your point.

I have Meow Gallery installed on paularenson.org. But recently I became concerned about number of files and tested Vimeotheque and Photonics (which also does videos from Vimeo and photos from Smugmug.

At first I considered offloading but as you write, it is complex and risky. But anyway, to test Photonics, I needed to delete or inactivate the Meow Litebox.

I was testing on another domain but still I got this error message.
MEOW LITEBOX Error You cannot delete plugin (from the new site) while it is active on the main site.

    Very confusing.

Well, in doing so, I first got rid of Meow Gallery but still the Litebox remains.

This is not an error from the Meow Lightbox. I don’t mind you disable, or delete the plugin ?? I don’t do anything against it.

This is from WordPress. Maybe you are using a multisite, and one of the site has the plugin still enabled and you try to delete it from the main site? That might be that reason.
