• Have deactivated the plugin and trying to delete it but it fails every time. Very annoying to have a plugin installed that is not being used.

There isn’t anything unusual about WooCommerce Admin as far as installation or deletion goes.

Any time you have this happens with a plugin you need to use your web host control panel or FTP to remove the plugin folder. WooCommerce Admin is installed in /wp-content/plugins/woocommerce-admin/.

I just wanted to say I am having the same issue as well with the woocommerce admin not deleting. Thank you for the answer above. This might be an issue somewhere.

Thanks for the report @scandinaviandrone and @burginkn. We found a bug that was breaking the uninstall script when WooCommerce was disabled. The team is already taking a look at it and hopefully will be fixed in a future version:

    https://github.com/woocommerce/woocommerce-admin/issues/2657

In the meanwhile, a workaround to be able to delete the plugin would be to temporally enable WooCommerce and deleting WooCommerce Admin while WooCommerce is enabled. After WooCommerce Admin is deleted, WooCommerce can be disabled again if desired.

Thank you. Enabling Woo Commerce and THEN deleting Woo Commerce Admin finally eliminated this pesky plugin from my site. Your advice is much appreciated!

Thanks @solmage you saved me. It was literally annoying to see the plugin there which was I guess of no use for me.

thanks all for the good info: have a question, I want to keep the products I have in the woo commerce and use them as static pages, can I delete the plugin and retain the product pages, convert them to static pages, and move on from there? thanks Mark
