Can’t delete Blogroll category

  • I deleted all of the Blogroll links then tried to delete the Blogroll category. It just displays “Processing Data…” and nothing ever happens. I added a new category fine but can not delete the Blogroll category.

  • Why would you like to delete the link category?

    Shot in the dark:
    If you don’t want it to show up in your sidebar, open your sidebar.php and delete or comment out the code writing out the category title.

    Same issue: can create new link categories, can even rename the Blogroll link category, but if I try to delete it I just get the message ‘Processing Data…’ and the category is NOT deleted.
