Can’t delete a widget on my website?

  • I’m trying to delete a redundant sidebar widget on my website, but for some reason, it acts like it’s trying to delete it but never actually does it. Here’s a link to a screenshot if you need to see what this looks like. Things I’ve already tried:

    1. Clearing my cache
    2. Logging out of my site and logging back in
    3. Closing the browser and restarting it
    4. Trying another browser
    5. Restarting my computer

    If you have any advice on how to resolve this, it would be much appreciated.

    Please note your current shopping theme was last updated in February 4, 2016!!!

    Likely the theme is abandoned by the author and not compatible with current WP.

    You can try this Widget Disable plugin too if that can help.
