Having discovered that I can’t toggle between the visual and text editors, I wanted to check whether it was caused by a conflict with SBP plugin, but the plugin will not deactivate.

Hi, that is very strange. Can you try the following. FTP into your server and rename the plugins folder to something different.

    For example:

Rename the following speed-booster-pack folder to temp-speed-booster-pack.

That should deactivate the plugin. Then you can carry out your test as per the following comment.

If you then want to enable the plugin folder, rename the plugin folder back to its original name.

Let me know if this helps you or not.

    Kind regards

Thanks for the suggestion, but sorry I don’t feel comfortable delving into FTP accounts.

Hi, sorry to hear. I pointed out to FTP because it is the simplest way to manage files and folders in a server without having to log into your sever.

You might try the following option.

Do you have access to cPanel in your server? If you do, you can use File Manager to carry out what I suggest above. Check the following youtube video. The video might help you understand how to.

    Kind regards

Thanks. I renamed the file via cPanel to deactivate and tested. It’s not the culprit! Now need to test my other plugins!

I am glad to hear that you were able to rename the folder. I am also happy to know our plugin is not at fault.

Looking forward to finding out more.

    Kind regards
