We’re using Custom Permalinks 1.4 on a WooCommerce site and we’re able to customize URLs for category and tag pages. After upgrading to 1.5 on our development site, we can no longer customize category or tag URLs. The custom permalink field is missing. Is this now a premium-only paid feature?

@coryinthelou If you are trying to edit default category and tag Permalinks then they are still and remain part of the FREE version but if you are talking about the custom Category then it’s a part of the Paid version.

Let me know what exactly issues you are facing on.

    Thanks,
    Sami

    Thanks for your response!

What I’m wondering is whether the ability to customize individual WooCommerce category/tag permalinks was removed from the free plugin at some time in the past year. We’re able to customize individual product category permalinks under 1.4 but not under 1.5 after upgrading, and I can’t think of anything else that changed. We don’t mind paying for the premium version if necessary but don’t want to do so if we don’t need it.

@coryinthelou As far as I remembered, I never provide this functionality in FREE Version.

Custom Permalinks only supports the default Category/Tags in FREE Version whereas the field was there on all the Custom Categories but that never worked which I had removed in v1.5.0.

    Thanks Sami.

Does Custom Permalinks pro provide the ability to remove the default /product/ base in product permalinks in bulk, as this plugin does?

@coryinthelou No, Custom Permalinks doesn’t provide the ability to change the permalink in bulk.
