I’m really confused as to how the single listing page works and how to customize it. I’m not talking about order of the modules using shortcodes, I mean actually customizing the page using a page builder and adding a header image.

All pages of this plugin were customizable, in the sense that I create a page, customize it using my Divi page builder, and add the corresponding shortcodes for this plugin to display the page. However, when I add a header image to the single listing page, it shows below the listing title, go back button, and “add listing” buttons.

However, when I access the single listing page directly, it shows the header just fine:

I’m even more confused as to why when viewing a single listing, it uses the ‘at_biz_dir’ slug and not the page slug from which the single listing page resides. This messes up my whole breadcrumb structure because the single listings aren’t appearing to actually be on the single listing page.

To elaborate on my first issue a bit:

The problem is I can’t seem to add a page header using a page builder (Divi or Elementor), without the single listing showing the header between Directorist page sections (instead of at the top of the page, like it’s supposed to be). But in the demo pages of Directorist, they were able to squeeze a header image on the single listing page. I don’t see how.

It’s almost like either this plugin or WordPress inherits a default page layout or template for Directorist’s single listing view. And it’s confusing me because each page within Directorist operated as a standalone page that could be customized, whereas the single listing view appears to not actually be on the single listing page.

I am having the same problem. My single listing page inherits my blog page template including my blog sidebar and “Blog Posts” heading. Any way to fix this?

I have this same problem at the moment. I hope this can be resolved.

I also have this issue. Any chance we can get a fix, please? Thanks!

    Hi,
Single listing page automatically takes the template of single blog page. We had to leave it that way for several reasons. All the directory plugins available on this plugin directory did the same. Good news is that we are bringing a solution of the issue soon.

Hey guys, one month ago you said you will bring a solution of the issue soon. When can we expect the solution? It’s just the one thing to bring our new service online. :/

    Hello Torben,
    Hopefully next month.

    Mhm, ok. Thank you.

I would also be very interested in this upcoming feature.

Your directory plugin is one of the best on the market and styling the single listing page would solve my only problem with this plugin.

Isn’t it possible to overwrite the listing page from the child theme directory?

Hi @maddest, thank you very much! The good news is that we have already added the feature in the development version which is going to be released very soon including some amazing features like listing submission without login.

    Hi @aazztech,
thank you very much for your quick answer. Looking forward for the next version ??

How is it going? When comes the new version you told in december? We need the single listing very urgent. Thank you!

As there is no way to “+1”, I will add a comment.

This is critical to our current project.

Is there anything that can be done to help?

    All the best,
    Atg

    Hi All,
The final testing is going on. As it’s going to be a major update with new features and improvements, we are giving lots of time testing. Our plan is to release the new update on this Thursday unless find any bugs in the last hour.
