Cant create or edit posts after updating to 4.01

    After updating to WordPress 4.01…

    Can’t edit an existing post – there is nothing in the editor! its blank – and when I click inside the WYSIWYG visual editor I cant see the cursor either to start typing. Its all white.

    The toolbar also is missing from the editor.

    I’ve never seen WordPress behave like this before.

    WordPress 4.0.1

    Any suggestions?

  • Have you tried clearing your browser cache or testing using a different browser.

    I’m having the same issue and have tried Safari, Chrome and Firefox. I haven’t tried clearing the browser cache but will.

    Just cleared the browsers on Safari and Chrome and it didn’t solve the issue. Any other suggestions?

    It’s possible one of your plugins is in conflict with something new in 4.01. I would try deactivating all of the plugins and see if everything is working OK.

    If it is, then re-activate each plugin one by one, checking each time to see if you’re post contents are visible along with the toolbar.

    If you activate a plugin and it stops working, you’ll know that’s the plugin in conflict.

    That worked. Seems when Post-Analytics is loaded there is an issue.
