Can't create gallery or load modules

Whenever I click the manage galleries button and try to create a new gallery. The page keeps loading a long time and eventually nothing appears. Same happens when I try to install a module.

I’m developing on localhost using a vhost so I have full domain. CURL is installed and is working just fine.

Any idea?
