Can't create categories

    I just installed this and have high hopes as my previous eccommerce plug-in has failed me, but I am unable to create categories, and I need them as I have hundreds of items. I can fill in the name, slug, and choose an image for the category, but when I click save, the new category is either not listed, or if I refresh the page its gone.

    I am running a multi-site installation, and suspect that may be the problem, but can’t find any info on that. I already disabled all of my plug-ins first and it still does not work.

    On a whim, I rolled back to version 2.1.10, and tried that. Suddenly I had about 30 duplicate categories that had vanished previously. I was able to edit them and assign them, and delete the extras, so then I switched back to version 2.1.12 and its working fine now. Not sure what was wrong but rolling back apparently fixed it.
