    Hi
I get an error message whenever I try to sign up: “An error occured. Please try again later”.

I have tried both google and normal sign up. Same error all the time.

I have tried to reset the plugin, but it didn’t change anything. I don’t have the option to unlink my account.

I also tried to uninstall the plugin and reinstall, but the same error occurs still.

Is this a problem with another plugin?

The plugins I have installed are:
    Akistmet anti-spam
    Jetpack
    PhotoDropper
    SEO Ultimate
    Shared Counts and
    Wordfence Security
I already tried deactive Wordfence thinking this could cause the problem but still can’t create the account with CreativeMail.

    Please help.

    Hi!

It is indeed probably related to another plugin on your site.
After doing some research in our logs we can see that we get the following error from your site when we try to connect your CreativeMail account to your WordPress site:

The SSL connection could not be established, see inner exception

This usually indicates that there is some kind of firewall or other security plugin active preventing our servers from communicating with your site.
Have you tried to disable the Wordfence Security plugin?

Yes I already deactivated word fence but this did not solve the issue.

I did not have SSL on the site either so maybe this is a problem? I am getting SSL put on it today.

    The site is https://www.themidnightlunch.com

Hi, thank you for your reply.

That is most likely the issue, in our systems your site was added with SSL so it’s trying to communicate over SSL.

Please let us know if you have the same issue after the SSL has been setup.

SSL is complete. Still have the same problem.

    Hi,

Could you try to click the “unlink” or “reset” button and go through the signup process one more time?

This will generate some new log / debug information on our end.

After checking again, it seems that your SSL is not valid / active yet:

If we go to https://themidnightlunch.com/ we get the following error:

    Your connection is not private
Attackers might be trying to steal your information from themidnightlunch.com (for example, passwords, messages or credit cards). Learn more
    NET::ERR_CERT_AUTHORITY_INVALID

Yes, that was the problem. Now the SSL certificate is enabled I was able to get the account created no problem.
