• I had HostGator move my site to an upgraded server. Now, when I try to create a new page and click publish, the page goes to a blank page, but no further.

    I also notice when I write the title and click into the content area, the permalink doesn’t show as it normally does.

    I can create a post without any problems, but not a page.

    Any ideas on what’s happening and how I can resolve this issue?

    It might be a plugin issue. Deactivate all of your plugins. if that resolves the issue, reactivate each one individually until you find the cause.

    If that did not resolve the issue, your account’s PHP memory allocation may be lower on the “upgraded” server. Here are four ways to increase the memory allocation:

    1. If you have access to your PHP.ini file, change the line in PHP.ini
    If your line shows 32M try 64M:
    memory_limit = 64M ; Maximum amount of memory a script may consume (64MB)

    2. If you don't have access to PHP.ini try adding this to an .htaccess file:
    php_value memory_limit 64M

    3. Try adding this line to your wp-config.php file:
    Increasing memory allocated to PHP
    define('WP_MEMORY_LIMIT', '64M');

    4. Talk to your host.
