• Everything is up-to-date. When trying to capitalize a tag that was previously lower-case, when I update, it reverts back to lower-case.

If I delete the tag and update, it is deleted.

When I write it back in with a capital, and update, it shows lower-case.

Are you speaking of the tag name or the tag slug? Uppercase is not allowed in tag slugs. They should be permitted in names. If you are unable to use uppercase in tag names, there is likely an issue with your theme or one of your plugins. Try switching themes and deactivating plugins to narrow down the source of the trouble. Take up the issue through the responsible module’s dedicated support channel.

I have around 30 name tags; all work properly. But on my last post, I used 5 new tags and didn’t capitalize 2 of them. When I went back to change them, I couldn’t. e.g. I want swing bridge to be Swing Bridge.

So the theme and plugins are fine. I just can’t change the spelling of my tags.

That it worked earlier does not mean there is not a theme or plugin issue now. If you want a workaround to fix a couple tag names you can edit the DB terms table entries using phpMyAdmin. Typically accessed through your hosting control panel. It doesn’t solve the problem but it gets your tags corrected.
