I’m trying to set-up the plugin and I’m stuck in the first step, the connection to wordpress.com. I enter my wordpress.com credentials click approve, it seems working, then when clicking back to my website the Connect button still remains the same and not in the state connected.
    Not sure whats happening

    Hello @sotnasonun,

Sorry to hear you’re having trouble connecting your site to WordPress.com.

May I ask if you have Jetpack installed? Also, please make sure you’re meeting the plugin’s requirements as mentioned in the guide.

If all the options in the guide above weren’t helpful, then please attach some screenshots that describe the problem as well as your site’s system status report.

You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”.? Once you’ve done that, paste it here in your response.

Look forward to hearing back from you.

No I don’t have jetpack installed. Is it necessary?
Can’t find that sort of information on the mentioned guides.

    Hi,

Jetpack powers the connection between Google listings & ads and WordPress, it is optional, more information is below:

    https://woocommerce.com/document/google-listings-and-ads/faqs/#is-jetpack-required

...then when clicking back to my website the Connect button still remains the same and not in the state connected.

What about if you switch your site theme to Storefront and disable all other plugins except WooCommerce and Google Listings & ads, is the issue still present?

You can use the Meks Quick Plugin Disabler plugin, it will help you to remember what plugins you currently have active, so it’s easy to switch them back on.

    I hope this helps.
