Can't Connect to osCommerce Database

    For others who might have this same problem, what I did to fix the issue was I imported the entire database from the old site to a temporary database on my new site. Then tried again and it worked flawlessly.

    nice, you can copie your DB in localhost and try :

    osCommerce store URL: localhost

    osCommerce Database Host: localhost

    osCommerce Database User: yourName (default:root)

    osCommerce Database Password: yourPassword (default:empty)

    osCommerce Database Name: baseName

    Hey, thanks for the tip but I must be doing something wrong as it’s still not connecting to the DB. This is what my set up looks like:

    K:\Downloads\Programs\InstantWP_4.3.1\iwpserver\htdocs\wordpress
    URL for access: https://127.0.0.1:4001/wordpress/

    I’ve put the DB inside the root folder, being:
    K:\Downloads\Programs\InstantWP_4.3.1\iwpserver\htdocs\

    But to no avail. Any help appreciated.
