Can’t connect to ftps – ‘Please reconnect using TLS Security Mechnisms’

    Hi,
    when trying to use my ftps address as my remote storage option on UpdraftPlus and inputing my credentials I receive the following error message:
    Failure: We did not successfully log in with these credentials.
    Messages- PHP Event: Code E_Warning: ftp_login() – Please reconnect using TLS Security Mechanisms (Line 46, wp-content/plugins/updraftplus/includes/ftp.class.php).
    Could anyone help me troubleshoot this issue, so I can help my client carry out backup and restore using UpdraftPlus?

    Hi,

    The free version doesn’t support FTP over SSL/TLS; that’s available as an add-on (go to the ‘Premium / Extensions’ tab in UpdraftPlus).
