• Hello,

Thanks for this plugin! It’s definitely made this process a lot easier. Right now I’m trying to connect to my Facebook page using the settings screen of the plugin (so I can resave the articles I want to send to FB Instant Articles), but I’m getting an error: Invalid App ID.

I’ve tried with two different App IDs and neither of them work. Not sure what’s going on. Any suggestions appreciated!

    Hi kristajune,

    What is your App ID?

We had a issue with thins on the plugin on versions < 2.7; are you on the last version?

    Thanks for reporting!

Thanks for the quick reply! I am using the latest version of the plugin. The App ID is 935195519932971.

Now I’m getting this error message:

Given URL is not allowed by the Application configuration: One or more of the given URLs is not allowed by the App’s settings. It must match the Website URL or Canvas URL, or the domain must be a subdomain of one of the App’s domains.

The URL is in the App settings, though, so I’m not sure why it’s saying that.

    Hi @kristajune,

You need to got to your App settings page and:

    1. Add your site as a platform for your App
    2. Add your domain as a domain for your App

Let me know if that works.

    Thank you!

THANK YOU. I did something really stupid (I’m very new to FB Apps)–I had www in front of my domain… that’s why it wasn’t working. Thanks for the help!

Another question: Publishing via API seems to be all set up in the plugin settings, but even after updating a few articles, I’m still not seeing them populate in the Instant Articles section on FB.

Also, after I update an article, at the bottom of the post, it says, “This post was not yet submitted to Instant Articles.”

Do you know if there’s something else I need to do? Should I remove the RSS feed from the FB settings? Or keep it?

Btw, it also says this at the bottom of the post: “This post was transformed into an Instant Article with no warnings.”

Same thing here. please help ?
