    Hi,

I have been tried to install Facebook WooCommerce 2.0 before a few weeks and I got an error “something went wrong” now I reinstall the plugin and there is a new error – after I choose my account it won’t let me continue to the next stage to sync between WooCommerce and Facebook.
I tried to delete cache / try with different browser / reinstall the plugin and more.

    Thanks!

    Hi ?@ewatts @eriola @unknownve,
    ?
Thanks for reaching out about the plugin. I’m sorry to hear that you are experiencing an issue as well. Per the forum guidelines, would you please start your own topic? As we quite often see issues that look similar in nature but have very different underlying causes. A topic per user helps us focus on your specific issue to get to the root cause for you quicker!

    Hi @netoffis

Thanks for all the detail so far, it’s a great help. I’m sorry for the frustration that the connection process is causing. I’ll be happy to look into this further for you, or help gather the necessary information to contact Facebook directly.

We’re aware that the latest versions of the plugin have some connectivity issues and resolving this is a high priority for us. Our team has coordinated with the Facebook team in the past couple of weeks as they’ve released changes set to improve the connectivity.

While a lot of merchants have been able to reconnect, we’ve been seeing some follow-up errors that result in either a page with the WooCommerce logo or the Facebook wrench. The troubleshooting steps will depend on what error page you get.

To better diagnose the problem, could you please send a screenshot of the issue you’re running into?

    Thanks so much!

    Hi @netoffis

Thanks for your patience here and for providing the screenshots, they’re a lot of help.

I’m afraird this error could be the result of a few different issues. To troubleshoot this, we have a code snippet that I can share that should provide some more detailed error messaging. The detailed error messaging could help us get closer to what’s causing this issue and the snippet can be deleted once we’re done here.

Would you please let me know if you’d be comfortable adding a small code snippet to your site so we can see what’s happening here?

    Thanks!

    Hi,

@christineskyverge No problem, please send me the snippet code: [email protected]

    Hi @netoffis

Great! I’ve pasted the snippet below:

    add_filter( 'wc_facebook_connection_proxy_url', function() { return 'https://wc-connect-test.skyverge.com/auth/facebook/';} );

You can use a plugin like?Code Snippets?which allows you to easily add and remove the snippet after we’ve got the error message.
    ?
?Could you please share the complete error message with me once you’ve gone through the setup again?

    Thanks,
    Christine

    Hi,

In which way to insert the code via code snippets?

    Thanks!

    Hi @netoffis

You could run it everywhere, then delete it once we’ve got the error message.

    Thanks!

    Hi @netoffis

Thanks so much for sending over the error message! This is a big help.

To further investigate this, would you please reach out to our support team through our site sharing the email address you use for your Facebook account, along with your Business Manager ID? So the Facebook team can take a look at the logs and determine why your attempts to connect are failing.

You could get in touch with us directly here: https://www.skyverge.com/contact/

If you need help finding your Business Manager ID, please follow these steps:

    1. Go to the Business Manager page.
    2. Selecting the business you want to connect to.
    3. Check the URL – you should see a business_id value there.

Could you please include your forum username in the email also? So we could connect the email to your thread here.

    Thanks,
    Christine
