Can't connect to database, using GoDaddy hosted WP

    Hi,

    I’m having issues connecting to the database on my GoDaddy hosted WordPress site.

    I’ve placed the package file and installer.php in the new site directory using FTP. I’ve run installer.php, but none of the database details seem to work. GoDaddy tells me the database name, user name and password, but not the host name. I also can’t find it anywhere in phpMyAdmin. I tried the host name in wp-config.php but it failed to connect. I’ve also tried localhost with the same result.

    Is there anything else I could try?

    Sounds like you need to have GD help you get the correct info…
