Can’t Connect To Database – GoDaddy WordPress Staging

    Hello. I have used your staging plugin before successfully on another server.

    I am now working for a client who uses GoDaddy WordPress and trying to setup a stage site.

    Your plugin sets everything up and creates the new folder and adds the database tables correctly.

    When I compare the wp-config files the database username and passwords are the same for the main site and staging site.

    I have received the error can’t connect to database on the staging site. I have watched your YouTube video on how to fix this error but it does seem to help me in this specific situation.

    Hi @roni_gabriel
    Please check the databast host in the wp-config.php file of staging site and make sure it’s the same as in the wp-config.php file of the live site.

    If you still can’t resolve this issue, please send us the live site’s system information from (WP STAGING > System Info) via this form and we will help you further from there.
