Can’t connect paypal

    I am trying to connect my paypal to forminator, but it keeps saying that the sandbox secret key is invalid, even though it is literally correct. I’ve done everything I can, and after some testing, I realize that I can put random gibberish in all the fields except the sandbox secret key field, which seems to be unconditionally displaying “you’ve entered an invalid sandbox secret key”.
    Please fix this ASAP

    Entering random content in the fields will always default to showing you an error message for the either the sandbox or live secret keys, as that is what the API checks against what you enter for the client IDs.

    Please double-check that you have indeed copied the client ID & secret key for the correct mode in your PayPal Developers account:

    Also, please ensure that there are no unwanted blank spaces either before or after what you enter in the fields; that’s an issue that can still trip up even the most experienced copy/pasters, like me. ??

    I just tested by reconnecting PayPal to Forminator on one of my test sites, and the blank space issue is the only way I’m able to replicate your issue. So I think that might be the case here.

    thank you for your response. you were correct. there were spaces in my copy-paste. I also copy-pasted them thru discord, which happened to take the underscores in the client id and make the text italicized. it now works, I am able to connect my Paypal now, thanks to you.
