The Site Kit setup was interrupted because you did not grant the necessary permissions. To fix this. This is the error I keep receiving.

I try to connect my standard Google account to sitekit that I also use for Google Search Console and Analytics. But with no luck. I tried disabling security plugins and plugings that could block the connecting, I switched my theme to a default one but still the same error.

How can I solve this issue?

    Thankyou in advance!

  • Hello @gisas ,

Thanks for reaching out to Site Kit support team.

The Site Kit setup was interrupted because you did not grant the necessary permissions. To fix this. This is the error I keep receiving.

Can you please try setting up Site Kit in incognito window of the Chrome browser? In most cases this error occurs when there is a delay during authorization with your Google account.

Let us know if you are still struggling to setup Site Kit so we can help you accordingly.

Information is submitted, thanks for helping me

By inspecting your Site Health information nothing stands out.

Can you please make a try once more by following the setup steps after clicking on the redo the plugin setup link? During setup you’ll need to approve Site Kit access when requested, to grant Site Kit access to your Google services accounts. If you don’t approve or if the approval page times out then you may encounter this notice once more.

Please make sure you have checked all permission on OAuth step. Please see screenshot here.
