Can't connect JetPack to WordPress.com

I have tried changing the password many times, and even created a whole new account, but every time I try to connect JetPack to WordPress it says,

“The password you entered for the email or username spydercanopus is incorrect.
Remember, you need to sign in with your WordPress.com account, not your website account.”
