    Hey @galinabublik

Thanks for reaching out about Facebook for WooCommerce! I’ll be happy to help.

One potential cause of this issue is the use of a security plugin, such as iThemes Security. With this particular plugin, other users have reported that unchecking the “Long URI strings” option has resolved this issue.

Could you please tell me if you are running any security plugins like this and if so, if unchecking that option allows you to complete the connection process?

    Cheers,
    Steve

    Hello, @skyvergesteve!
After activated i can’t find “Long URI strings” option in settings of iThemes Security((
Both plugins updated to last version, but the error is still there.

    Please help us!

    Hey @galinabublik

Sorry that the plugin is still not able to connect.

Can you also please try to temporarily remove the security settings in iThemes Security of:

    • Filter Suspicious Query Strings in the URL</li
    • Filter Non-English Characters
    • Filter Long URL Strings

Once these are removed, can you please try to connect again? Can you also please try connecting in a different browser if the issue persists after the changes?

    Cheers,

    Steve

    Hey @galinabublik ,

Sorry to hear that you are still having issues connecting. This error is a different one than what you were previously receiving, so some progress has been made ??

We have a snippet that will give us some additional error information, which may give us a better indication as to what might be happening here. Can you please add the following snippet to your site and attempt to connect to Facebook again? If you aren’t familiar with adding custom code to your site, here is some information as to how to do it. Personally, I like the free Code Snippets plugin method.

You can view the snippet here:

    add_filter( 'wc_facebook_connection_proxy_url', function() { return 'https://wc-connect-test.skyverge.com/auth/facebook/';} );

Once the snippet is in place and you have had a chance to try to connect to Facebook again, would you please send a screenshot or text of any additional error messages that show?

    Cheers,

    Steve
