    Hello,

At my web agency we have been using Facebook for WooCommerce with success until today.

After updating from v1.9.15 to v2.1.4, we are asked to reconnect to Facebook (screenshot => https://idearia.link/NJknra) but when we do?it, we are not allowed to select neither the Product Catalog nor the Facebook page because they belong to another Business Manager (screenshot => https://idearia.link/FSdrtK).

This should not happen, because we are administrators of both the Product catalog and the Page, via our agency’s Business manager, which is authorized by the client’s Business manager.

Is there a workaround? We are considering downgrading to v1.9.15, but it would not be ideal.

    Thank you for your attention,
    Guido

Hi @zdenys, thank you for your reply.
I have followed all the steps with no success.
The page is connected to our Business Manager, and I am both a page manager and the catalog admin: why is it that I cannot connect the e-commerce to Facebook?
Is it possible to connect to the catalog the “old way”?
    Thank you,
    Guido

PS: Alas, moving all assets under the same Business Manager is not an option… we are in no position to ask our corporate client to revolutionize its Business manager.

    Hi @zdenys,
Do you know whether the issue due to a new Facebook policy? It that were the case, it would be easier for our client to understand.
    Thanks,
    Guido

Please note that downgrading to Facebook for WooCommerce v1.10.2 seems to work as a temporary fix.
This is far from ideal, but better than no sync at all… and it suggests that the issue is due to a plugin’s limitation rather than to a Facebook policy.
    Thanks,
    Guido

    Hi @coccoinomane ,

I apologize for the delayed response here. I see you added a bug report for this, too. Thank you so much for adding that!

It looks like this is going to be something our developers will need to work on, so I’m going to mark this forum thread as resolved in favor of that issue.

If you have any other questions, go ahead and start a new thread.

    Cheers,
