    I’ve read a couple of support articles. This one seems close to my issue:

    I recently migrated my site https://apbmodern.com from a server to wordpress.com hosting. On my server I had wordpress installed in a folder ‘wordpress’ in the root. On wordpress.com hosting wordpress is effectively installed in the root. The address to my wp-admin has changed as a result.

    After the migration Site Kit was saying another user had admin access (there is only one user). I reset Site Kit in Tools / available tools. I then got the regular message to connect to Analytics in the Site Kit Dashboard. I jump through my authroizations at accounts.google.com and get redirected back to wp-admin, but with the wrong redirect address (https://apbmodern.com/wordpress/wp-admin… rather than https://apbmodern.com/wp-admin…). I’ve tried amending the redirect URL in the browser window, but I get a timed out message.

    Is there a way to resolve this and connect Site Kit? Thank you!

    @bigflannel Just to confirm that the last list of sites you shared should no be corrected and you should be able to complete setup for these.

    The team are still working on this to find a solution so I don’t have any further updates on this at this time.

    Do you have any other questions in the meantime?

    @bigflannel Thanks for checking in. Unfortunately I don’t have much of an update for you at this time. I have been in contact with the engineers about this issue today I can tell you that and it is still being looked at.

    Hi @bigflannel, I have just heard back from the team who are struggling to replicate the issue. Could I please ask you to try this again with another site capturing each step you take in detail so that I can pass this on to the team to follow as you have done exactly.

    You could even record the experience which would help us to see this happening. You could use a service such as Loom to do this and share the video URL here for me to pass on to the team.

    Apologies for all the back and fourth but without being able to replicate this issue it’s hard to implement a fix for it. Thanks again for your time with this.

    I will be trying this again at some point.

    I have already sent video of all my steps. Did you guys get it? What was missing? I am not sure what more I can show you and how I can mores imply describe what is happening.

    Is there any update on resetting the URL at your end for the last set of sites?

    I’ve tried to give you everything you need. Along the way I have asked where and when the URL Site Kit uses would be reset (based on the admin URL) and I haven’t been given an answer. You guys have requested I do things which break wp-admin and make no sense. I have done them, documented it and sent video.

    @bigflannel Yes I have received this thank you. We are just trying to gather as much information as we possibly can for this as we are so far unable to replicate the issue.

    I have passed on the latest site list to the team and will let you know once these have been updated.

    @bigflannel I am still waiting confirmation that the latest sites have been updated but the team have also asked if you could try this again with another site to see if the issue has been resolved or if you are still facing the same problem. Let me know how you get on.

    @bigflannel Could you please share the full callback URL highlighted here from your recording? That URL should contain the error code that will help us understand the source of the problem you are facing.

    This is not resolved.

    I can’t share the callback URL because you guys have fixed those sites at your end. Site Kit now works with the last set I sent you. Thank you for fixing those.

    I have 4/5 more sites to move that will have the same issue. I will update this ticket with my process and the callback URL next time.

    @bigflannel Thanks for getting back to me and apologies for closing the ticket but it is routine that we do this is we don’t get a reply back within a week but good to know you’re still with us. I will await you to try again and share the callback URL if you run into the same issue.

    @bigflannel I just wanted to check back in to see if you had migrated your other sites yet and if so, did you encounter the same issues as you have previously?
