    Hi there, @sterndata,

I’m sorry to hear about the trouble, but thanks for reaching out. I checked your site and I can see it’s not publicly accessible – it looks, in fact, offline.

Jetpack needs your site to be fully online and publicly accessible to be able to connect. I recommend reaching out to your hosting provider to ensure your site is online, and then try to reconnect Jetpack again. If it’s still erroring, we’ll investigate further.

Let me know what you find out!

    hmmmm… thanks.

I had to factory reset my router and had port forwarding set up for port 43 (not 443) for the web server. AARGH!

    Hey @sterndata,

The port issue was, in fact, the problem I was seeing from the Jetpack debugger tool – I see that’s fixed, well done ??

The connection looks now beautifully healthy: do you see any issues at your end? If not, the case is solved and you’re all set ?? Let me know!

I’m going to mark this thread as solved. If you have any further questions or need more help, you’re welcome to open another thread here. Cheers!
