I created this site by cloning another site. When I install Yoast, I see the meta descriptions for the Home and About page from the original site. I uninstalled Yoast, and ran the plugin called “uniinstall yoast”, as well as ran the premium version of the Advanced DB cleaner, but still, every time I reinstall Yoast, those meta descriptions come back. Because of the subject matter of the two sites, it’s critical that I get all of the original site’s data cleared out from Yoast, but I don’t know what else to do, short of using a different SEO plugin, which I’d rather not do.

    Thanks for your help.

Unfortunately, we’re unable to confirm how the 3rd party Uninstall Yoast and Advanced DB Cleaner works. The Yoast SEO plugin stores the SEO data to the database. In order to remove them, you’ll need to manually edit the posts/pages, remove the SEO data, update the relevant posts/pages and that’s it.

Alternatively, you’ll need to manually clean the SEO data from the database which we won’t recommend.

Thanks for answering. I wish there was an easier answer, though.
