Can't close the box

    If I open FancyBox from a picture or text it’s working fine. But when I open FancyBox with a button I cannot close it, neither from the X in the right top corner, neither with ESCAPE. I’m using MaxButtons and I put pic/file’s url in the button. Any ideas?

  • Normally that indicates there is an incompatible jQuery library used like version 2+. Does the MaxButtons plugin load it’s own jQuery?

    I’, also facing same problem, I could not close the fancybox, I’ve done the settings to show close button ‘Show the (X) close button’ and ‘Close FancyBox when overlay is clicked’.

    As I said: “Normally that indicates there is an incompatible jQuery library used like version 2+.” … are you using a plugin or a theme that includes another jQuery version than the one that is included with WordPress? IF so, then Easy FancyBox is incompatible with that plugin or your theme.

    @ravanh thanks for your reply, As you said, It was causing because of jQuery updater plugin. I’ve deactivated the plugin and it is working now.
