Can’t Close Overlay

Hi, Love the plug, but one problem is that when you click the Search icon and the overlay screen opens up, the X to close the overlay does not work. The only way to get the overlay to close is to do a search. Some people will accidentally click the search icon, and get stuck. Please help.
