• Hello,

As the subject states, any text widget to which I add links and place in the Content Sidebar do not/no longer work (save on one page: https://mksukach.com/poem/) when the site is accessed on an iPad. This is a recent occurence and now happens w/any new page I create. Please note the everyting works fine on other mobile devices (e.g., iPhone) as well as in desktop browsers: IE11, Chrome, and FF.

The “poem” page allows the text widgets w/links to work because there’s enough content pushing something out of the way. As a test, I placed enough content on my Home Page to move whatever is preventing users from clicking on the text widget link. The behavior suggests (to me) that something is preventing users from clicking on links–like a transparent layer of some kind.

I’ve reached the end of my diagnostic capabilities…so any help would be appreciated, thanks!

    Hello John,

I worked around the problem by using the below short code (Shortcodes Ultimate plugin). I still don’t know why I can’t click on my sidebar links when viewing my site on an iPad, but using a spacer seemed to…I don’t know…push something out of the way. I went bloodshot going through all the code in my pages. In any event, this is working for now.

    Cheers,
    Mike
