can't click in textfields if there is a validation error

That worked. Except the theme I am using is a custom built theme. Is there anyway I can fix my problem for my theme?

I figured out what was wrong, there is a display: block; on the validation error messages. If I set the validation error messages to display: inline; i can click in the text field.
