Can’t Choose file

    I have added a new banner but when I try to choose a local file to use as the banner it opens the Media Library where I select the desire file, the media library closes but the image is not added.

    Perhaps as a consequence of the above it will then only let me save as Draft and will not Publish

    Thanks for you help.

    P.S. This was working before the various recent updates.

    Hello,

    Thank you for getting back to me.

    I managed to get round the immediate problem by selecting Remote banner and using the URL for the image from the WordPress Media Browser.

    I have just tried changing the banner for that add to Local and it seemed to have worked but I thought I had better check by adding a new banner and sure enough that was the same as before, no obvious errors but no file selected.

    I used the Chrome inspector and refreshed the page and it didn;t throw up an errors as such but there were a lot of info entries all relating to slow network. My broadband here is not particularly fast but at just over 3Mb it should be fast enough.
