    Hi,
I was updating some content for Yoast and I was told the site language was set to English (US).
Yet the admin is in French.
I added define(‘WPLANG’, ‘fr_FR’); to the wp-config.php page but nothing changed. Whenever I set to “French” (wich is in wp-content/languages), I save it and it goes back to English (US).
My wp-content file is set to 755 (tried to set it to 777 but it didnt change anything), could it still be a permission issue? How to fix it if it is? Thanks!
Any clue to help me? Thanks!

I solved the issue, it was linked to the Divi theme settings

Hello! In Divi >theme options, Check if ??disable translation?? is enabled. Mine was disabled and it solved the issue when I enabled it. Hope this works for you too!

Wow, how simple. Actually I had to disable ? disable translation ? and then it worked. I have been going mad over this problem and now it’s fixed. Thank you!

Sorry you’re right it’s the very opposite, it must be enabled!
