Hi, I just went to my timeline to change some text in a couple of announcements and when I save the changes I get a message like below and change aren’t applied.

Fatal error: Call to a member function getTimeStamp() on a non-object in /home/content/u/n/d/undisputedftp/html/JamesEPepper/wp/wp-content/plugins/timeline-express/lib/helpers.php on line 142

I’m terrible at php and have no idea how to fix this. I didn’t change anything other then the text in the body of the announcement. Also if it helps, I am using my text and html in the Announcement Custom Excerpt that I installed last week with the help of Evan and everything was working perfect.

    Thanks much for your help.

  • Ok no worries. Many thanks for the fast reply ??

Don’t suppose there’s any way to get a copy of version 1.1? Everything has been working fine for last 18 months….until the client decided to do some updating….

What is the date format that you are using? Can you try setting it to the default date format inside of ‘Settings > General > Date Format’ and set it to ‘F j, Y’.

Then re-test trying to save an announcement.

If that doesn’t work, can you try ‘m/d/Y’.

    Thanks,
    Evan

You can always download any of the previous releases from the ‘developer’ tab.

While it’s not recommended for security/stability reasons – it is, and will remain, there.

    Thanks!

Cool many thanks again. It could really be a number of things. It’s an older version of wordpress (client unhappy spending for the time needed etc) and it’s likely a GB copy.
    Thanks again!!

    No problem at all!
