can’t change time setting
-
Hello,
after using the events calendar plugin for years (free version) I am having trouble since some weeks.
1. I did deactivate the “classic editor” and change my theme to a Gutenberg-ready theme in November last year. At that time I created a series of events in the Gutenberg editor. Some time this year, probably after an update of either the WordPress core or the events calendar plugin all events are in the classic editor style again, even though Gutenberg is activated in the plugin settings. Thus, some blocks I created previously cannot be accessed in the editor any longer and are not displayed correctly in the front end. That would mean I have to redo all events created in the Gutenberg editor. This is annoying.
2. Wrong times are shown and cannot be corrected. No matter how often I change the times after saving the old (wrong) time is shown again. I have tested both options on time zones (use site-wide time zone/ use manual time zones) without success. This is more than annoying, especially since I had changed the time zone settings for all events after one of the plugin updates in the beginning of the year.
The plugin has caused a lot of double and triple work for me in the previous months. Not being able to correct wrong times at all may be the reason for finally choosing another plugin. This will mean to recreate all 2020 events, but would mean to have correct start and end times shown finally.
Technical information: The events Calendar version 5.0.2.1, WordPress version 5.3.2, theme Editor Blocks version 1.1.0 with Editor Blocks Child version 1.0.1. Both themes are Gutenberg-ready, PHP version 7.3
Thanks for your support!
